A community organization dedicated to making Newberry a better place to live.

The Newberry Community Partnership (NCP), was founded in 2006. What has the NCP done over those 15 years?

Well, the NCP has…
* Created and distributed the free “InsideNewberry” quarterly Newsletter,
* Worked with Lonza to prepare a “What to do in case of a Chemical Emergency”, information magnet
* Spearheaded the railroad X crossing, Williamsport “Quite Zone (horn noise) Ordinance”.
* Regularly met with City Officials to advocate for Newberry,
* Held two, yearly “Trash Pick Ups, Clean Ups”,
* Acquired grants for a “Newberry-Elm Street Property Repair Program”, grants to plant trees on Race Street, fund student art Murals and Newberry Street Pole Light Banners,
* Continued the fight for replacement trees on West Fourth,
* Host Events & Celebrations such as the “Light of Liberty Birthday Party”, “Business Exposition”, “Christmas Tree Lighting”…and many more activities!

Everyone with an interest in Newberry is welcome to join the NCP, but, you can also help by donating during the March 9th 2022 Raise the Region Campaign. Raise the Region is a 30-hour online giving campaign. Your donation will help the NCP continue the work summarized above.
