insideNewberry
To honor the past... inform the present... envision the future
insideNewberry is published quarterly by the Newberry Community Partnership(NCP) as a service to the neighborhood to promote community pride and facilitate communication between residents, schools, civic organizations and businesses. The NCP is a non-profit community-based organization established January 2006.
insideNewberry returned to the neighborhood January 2007 after an absence of three years. For many years Richard “Dick” Hostrander’s Inside Newberry newsletter was required reading for the residents and former residents of Williamsport’s West End. Inside Newberry was a reader friendly, home-grown, hometown paper that revisited Newberry’s past, examined its present and boosted its future. In an email to the NCP’s Alannah Gabriel, Dick Hostrander wrote, “It’s time for you and yours to take the newsletter to new heights. Good Luck!”
